AI that pays for itself: picking the right first use case

Every company wants an AI strategy. Few want to hear that the best starting point is usually the most repetitive task in the building.

The three-question filter

  • Does the task happen hundreds of times a week?
  • Can a human quickly check the output?
  • Can we measure time or money saved?

If the answer is yes to all three, you have a candidate with a clear payback. Support ticket triage, document extraction and internal knowledge search often top the list.

Evaluate before you celebrate

Build an evaluation set from real examples before launch. It is the only way to know whether a change to a prompt or model made things better or worse.

The goal is not to use AI. The goal is to remove work.
